Several home sale reports are now on public hands showing a major slow in the sale of homes during November and December last year.
It is clear that the market is changing after several years where the homeowners were drawing the prices and conditions of the sale. Some homeowners are feeling their homes are not sold in the regular 30 days and now are starting to bring down the prices to find a buyer.
We might be reaching the top of the hill in a good portion of the neighborhoods in Southern California. This means good news for home buyers.
However, we need to remember that not all the Southern California neighborhoods are similar. Some markets may still under the control of homeowners.
My recommendations
For Home Buyers, call your real estate broker and ask for a home market analysis in the neighborhood you are planning to live or invest, and take your time to visit several homes before make your final decision.
For Home Sellers, call your real estate broker and ask a neighborhood market analysis to see what is the competence doing and be ready to be flexible in the negotiations.
In both cases, feel free to contact me at (323) 942-9347. I provide free market analysis reports for home buyers and home owners.
